Once the largest man-made lake in the world, Roosevelt Lake is still the biggest of the six SRP lakes and offers the most recreation opportunities.
We are in the Goose loop of the Grapevine Group Site. You can arrive anytime after Noon on Friday, October 28th. The gate will be locked before that time. Drive in and pick a site. There are several trails in the area. Check out time on Sunday is 10am.
Goose loop has toilets, potable water & a group Ramada with grills. There is also a central shower building, lake access trails, & paved boat launch ramp. Please bring some firewood.
To get there:
Head east on US-60. Pass through Superior & Miami. Right before Globe, turn left at AZ-188. Drive approximately 21.8 miles then turn right at Grapevine Group Site. Proceed to Gooseloop & pick a site.
