At the Thumb Butte Distillery, on the corner of Washington and Moeller, we are busily working our alchemy inside our building. We are making Vodka, Gin, Rye Whiskey, Single Malt Whiskey, Bourbon and Dark Rum. Also, for your mixing pleasure, we produce a line of bitters that will make your taste buds dance! We are sourcing local corn and now local Durham wheat for our whiskeys. We are gathering wild Juniper Berries and have harvested our sage. From our crisp pure vodka, our Gurley Street Gin, Rodeo Rye and our Bloody Basin Bourbon we are ready to quench your thirst.
On your tour, which lasts about 20 minutes, you will see how the spirits are made and how the aging process takes place. Learn about the process to become licensed to operate a distillery. After the tour and the explanation of the process, there is a tasting session.
