Grand Canyon Campout

• Thursday & Friday should be sunny, and Saturday & Sunday should have thundershowers, so bring your canopies. We’ll follow the typical schedule:
• Thursday night we’ll do a mixer so everybody gets to meet everybody
• Friday everybody’s on their own to hike, shop, nap, or some combination thereof.
  
• Saturday evening we’ll have TBD and something vegetarian. Happy hour at around 5ish. We’ll provide some kind of happy hour adult beverage, and ask that everybody bring some kind of side or desert to share.
• Sunday morning checkout time is 11:00.

The park has been shuffling site reservations, so check in with the park host at the entrance to the Mather Campgrounds to get your site assignment. Your hosts may not have cellular connectivity in the park. The closest hotel rooms are located at the Yavapai Lodge, which also has a restaurant & free Wi-Fi.

There is a general store that has a selection of food & liquor and a snack bar. Elk and deer have frequently wandered through the neighborhood. There is drinking water and restrooms right next to the DA sites. Showers are available at the entrance to the sites, along with an RV dump station, phones, overflow parking, and laundry facilities. Bring quarters and flip-flops or river shoes for the shower.

Please bring firewood.
