Visit Tuzigoot National Monument to immerse yourself in the presence of people who lived in the Verde Valley a thousand years ago. Set aside twenty or thirty minutes to explore the Tuzigoot museum, which highlights ceramics, textiles, and tools found during the excavation of Tuzigoot pueblo, and was developed with help from descendants of the people who lived here.
Trails on site will take you through the Tuzigoot pueblo and Tavasci Marsh. Spend time with a ranger and learn about the Sinagua and the lives they led in the Verde Valley.
There is no DA event fee but there is a $10 park entrance fee unless you have a America The Beautiful pass which gets you & 3 other adults in for free. We have a pass & the first 2 people who register can be included in ours. Let us know when you register if you also have a pass.
Join us afterwards for lunch at The Tavern Grille in Cottonwood.
Your trip leaders will once again be Joe & Hans who can be reached at Tuzi@ComputerComprehension.com or 602-708-9691 (text only)
