By popular demand, Desert Adventures is hosting a dispersed camping trip along the Mogollon Rim.
We will be camping in the Forest Road (FR) 9350 Campground. This is beautiful country, and dispersed camping is ideal for those who can drive on rough dirt roads and forgo potable water, electricity, and close-at-hand toilets (unless you have them in your RV). For more information on this campground, see this webpage: FR 9350 Campground | USDA Forest Service. This campout will be free since the Forest Service does not charge fees for this campground. There is no particular check-in or check-out time. Your campout leaders Dennis and Nancy will go up and claim the site on Thursday. You are welcome to join them Thursday, Friday, or Saturday.
A few campers from our club had their own campout there in June of 2019. The photo above links to an album of photos from that campout.
Bring your own food and beverages, including water. You can call, text, or email each other to coordinate shared meals and supplies.
Your campout leaders will be Dennis and Nancy, and you will get their contact information when you register. If you have any questions before you register, email us.
