This swimming hole is nestled in Oak Creek Canyon with its lush trees and picnic area. This is an easy day trip. From Sedona, just a couple miles north of town and accessible via pave road. It's open year-round from 9am to 6pm Monday through Thursday and 8am to 6pm Friday through Sunday. There are picnic tables and vault toilets at the trail head but no drinking water. The day use cost is $12 per vehicle for up to 5 people so carpool to save fees. On foot or by bike is $3. Cash check or credit card can be used for entry.

Grasshopper Point picnic area is a favorite swimming area and has access to great hiking trails. The swimming area is situated under canyon walls and has some deep water for the adventurous.

Allen's Bend Trail starts from the picnic area and runs about a mile parallel to the creek. Casner Trail continues from there and offers excellent views. Swimming hiking, fishing, and picnicking are favorite activities at Grasshopper Point.

We will meet at the Home Depot parking lot (I-17 and Carefree Hwy) at 7:30 am and head out at 8am SHARP. After the hike we will eat lunch in Sedona then head back to Home Depot arriving around 5pm.

Scott and Monty are your trip leaders. Contact information provided when you register.

Please bring your swim gear and towel. Snacks and plenty of water recommended.
