Near the historic western town of Jerome and close to great Arizona wineries and tasting rooms in Cottonwood this campground is in a secluded site in the tall ponderosa pine trees. Pleasant daytime temperatures and cool mountain breezes make it a great respite from summer heat.

Elevation: 7,500 ft.
Excursions will include:
-- A tour of forest service roads making up Smiley Rock Trail. The forest service recommends a high clearance 4-wheel Drive vehicle to traverse these roads. Here is a link to the trail
-- A hike or two will be planned for various skill levels with details to follow.
Meals: On Friday night, two members in conjunction with DA will provide a build your own Taco Bar. Other attendees will be asked to bring accompaniments.
Additional Information on meals and activities, including sign-up sheets, will be provided to registrants two weeks prior to the event.
Cancellations received more than 14 days prior are entitled to a refund.
